Rob Hard is founder of
RH Communications, Inc., a Chicago-based firm that provides marketing
communications and event management services. Established in 2003, RH
Communications delivers services to health
care, professional services, technology, education, non-profit and other
clients. Projects focus on B-to-B and consumer initiatives that support
client operating plan goals for general market and emerging markets
objectives.
Rob’s background
includes more than 15 years of experience. He was previously marketing
communications manager for
Aetna from 1995 to 2006, responsible for marketing activities for
the North Central region, including brand communications and identity,
advertising, promotions, sponsorships, events, promotional
products/merchandising, sales communications, print management, regional
marketing management, field office marketing, internal communications
and product launches.
Prior to that Rob held
marketing and communications positions at Healthcare Compare Corp., and
editorial positions at American Hospital Publishing, Inc. He also taught
managerial communications as a visiting lecturer at the University of
Illinois at Chicago, and developmental English as adjunct faculty at
Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, IL. Rob began his career as a
news and features writer for community newspapers.
Rob received his Master
of Arts in Writing from DePaul University in 1993 and his Bachelor of
Arts in Mass Communications from Western Illinois University in 1987.
